Our client, a leading organization in the insurance and healthcare education sector, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Account Manager and Medicare Education Specialist to join their team. As a vital part of the team, supporting the sales and education departments, you will play a key role in serving clients, educating them about Medicare options, and fostering growth within your assigned book of business. Job Title: Account Manager and Medicare Education Specialist

Location: New Bern, NC

Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000

Shift: M-F 8:30-5pm

What's the Job?

• Maintain a retention rate of 93% on your book of business by providing outstanding service and proactive account management.
• Conduct ongoing account reviews, educate clients about coverage benefits, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and referrals.
• Create, implement, and oversee comprehensive Medicare training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
• Support client onboarding, follow up on claims, billing questions, and endorsements, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Support agency marketing efforts by suggesting content ideas and participating in branding activities to promote agency visibility.

What's Needed?

• 5 years of experience in insurance sales and/or account management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and engage clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving.
• Experience in account management, sales, or customer service within the insurance or healthcare industry is preferred.
• Willingness to learn industry trends, regulations, and develop training programs accordingly.
