Key Account Manager (SMB)
As our new Key Account Manager (SMB), you will be responsible for the local deployment, adoption, and growth of SMB accounts within France. You will join a dynamic team where your mission is to activate use cases and grow the local footprint by "spidering" into accounts to engage local stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of SMB Account Management, you will ensure smooth account rollouts and drive revenue through BU activation and usage-based growth.
Key responsibilities
- Execute detailed account plans and perform tactical action follow-ups to ensure consistent account development.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders including HR, Procurement, and Hiring Managers to expand Malt's presence.
- Support client pilots and first projects to ensure successful adoption and long-term platform loyalty.
- Run structured prospection within existing accounts to detect and capture new business unit-level opportunities.
- Conduct local qualifications to assess pains and needs, accurately documenting all data in the CRM.
- Deliver compelling value pitches and product demos adapted to the local context and specific client use cases.
- Coordinate with local vendors, MSPs, and internal teams to resolve operational issues and monitor delivery performance.
About you
- High-level education, ideally in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience (3 to 5 years) in account management or sales development, with a proven ability to manage high-volume activity and follow-up.
- Native level proficiency in French and strong English to operate within our European organization.
- Strong command of sales methodologies such as MEDDIC and professional objection handling techniques.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to maintain pipeline hygiene and provide accurate forecasting inputs.

- Interview with your future manager, Pierre, to delve into your experience and the specifics of the role. (45-60 minutes)
- Business case in order to assess your technical skills in account planning and local prospection strategy.
- Final interview with Adrian to discuss Malt's long-term vision and how you fit into our strategic growth.
