Role Description

The Technical Account Management Team handles relationships with the technical contacts at member firms, software providers, and data vendors. The team is responsible for technical on-boarding, attending face-to-face customer meetings, technical consultations, functional support, client readiness, and acts as a liaison between the client and internal teams.

The team provides support for the following markets and services: London Stock Exchange, Turquoise, TRADEcho, Group Ticker Plant (GTP), and RNS Data Feed products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all aspects of the technical relationship with a set of named accounts.
  • Provide functional support, technical advice, and project information to new customers and existing customers during product and system upgrades and changes.
  • Understanding the impact that proposed product and system changes will have on client systems and feed this back to the internal teams.
  • Identify all client readiness activities for assigned projects and act as the client-facing Technical Lead.
  • Liaise with software development, project management, network support, and business teams within each account during the on-boarding of new systems and development of existing systems and market migrations.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

  • Relevant industry experience within professional and client focused environments.
  • A good understanding of Equities markets would be an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of trading systems, market data, post trade and a good knowledge of FIX protocol.
  • The ideal candidate will have a degree in a technology, business, or engineering subject.
