Data Sharing Agreement Implementation Specialist

Reporting to the Head of Data Governance Controls, the Data Sharing Agreement Implementation Specialist will support the ongoing management of a robust risk and control framework within the Data Strategy & Management (DSM) area of LSEG's Data & Analytics (D&A) business.

Specific emphasis will be placed on the delivery on day-to-day data controls and associated metrics.

First key deliverable of the role will focus on the ongoing maintenance of Data Sharing Agreements between producers and consumers of commercial data content ensuring that usage is consistent with contractual obligations and LSEG's internal to ensure the data risk management framework is fully operational.

Second key deliverable of the role will focus on building a framework for the analysis of data usage through Authoritative Data Sources (ADS) and the ongoing management of the classification of D&A's catalogue of ADS'.

Role Deliverables

  • Collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards and their technical counterparts, Data Governance Leads, Digital Rights Management and Central Policy teams to ensure that data and associated processes and products conform to the D&A Data Governance policy standards.
  • Coordinate with other policy conformance groups such as Regulatory, Data Sovereignty and Privacy to ensure a complete, accurate and timely assessment of compliance to LSEG data policy.
  • Apply a detailed risk and controls focused mindset, ideally showing a working awareness of data management and governance frameworks and third-party rights management.
  • Document DSM & Data Governance local and federated controls ensuring they're appropriately designed, operating effectively and periodically reviewed and assessed in line with Control Enhancement Plan requirements.
  • Ensure Data Management / Governance processes are robust, with defined owners, and documented operating procedures.
  • Partner with the DSM Business Controls Officer (BCO) to complete the annual Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) which supports risk-based decisions. This includes maintaining an accurate risk profile to identify all 'Outside Risk Tolerance' and 'Near Risk Tolerance' risks which require remediation are escalated and tracked within relevant governance forums.
  • Document and investigate incident reviews on material incidents, including documentation of root cause and remediations to mitigate risk going forwards.
  • Coordinate with Centralised 1st line of defence team to document the risk reporting and metrics to support divisional leadership and Group and Divisional risk committees to perform their risk-duties.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Operational Risk Management or related areas preferably in Data / Financial Services.
  • Previous experience of Operational process risk management requirements and controls to ensure compliance with external laws, internal policies, standards, regulations, and industry expectations
  • Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative nature to work across teams, bringing stakeholders together and influencing best practice.
  • Ability to generate various data quality metrics and come up with ways to implement continuous monitoring and alerting. Exposure to metric presentation tools such as Power BI will be very useful in this role.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to influence without authority across teams
  • A self-starter with an ability to drive successful outcomes through adherence to metrics-based decision making is essential.

Compensation Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł130,200 - zł205,800. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan ("bonus plan"). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
