Project Coordinator (Full Time)

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator for a full-time position in Sarnia, ON, Canada. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Project Coordinator will provide oversight and coordination of all project and turnaround activities within their enclave to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role acts as the primary interface for Operations, Maintenance, Capital Projects group, Safety, and Engineering with regards to the successful completion of project and turnaround objectives. Production Enclave includes Air Separation, Carbon Dioxide, and Hydrogen plants (w/pipelines) throughout Sarnia, Corunna, Mooretown, Chatham, and other facilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end planning—building project and turnaround plans, schedules, budgets, and ensuring everything is set up for success.
• Lead both planned and unplanned shutdowns, from creating the job plans and critical path to tracking execution and wrapping things up properly.
• Keep everyone aligned—working closely with facility managers, operations, maintenance, and contractors to prioritize work and communicate status.
• Ensure all environmental, safety, and compliance requirements are met, and lead contractor safety meetings.
• Run regular coordination meetings and keep all project, maintenance, and capital work integrated into one master schedule.
• Manage manpower, contractor activity, and field progress—making real-time adjustments to keep productivity high and costs in check.
• Track spend, forecast, and flag any risks or deviations to plant leadership.
• Support continuous improvement—participating in investigations, managing change processes, and ensuring quality so equipment is reliable when everything restarts.

Qualifications:

• Hold a TSSA 3rd Class Operating Engineer or TSSA Refrigeration B certification.
• Have about five (5)+ years of experience in plant engineering, turnarounds, or reliability.
• An engineering degree is a bonus, but hands-on experience and leadership capability are prioritized.
• Strong soft skills—comfortable communicating, influencing, making decisions, and leading discussions with different groups.
• Build relationships across the organization and work effectively with a lot of different stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of plant equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Familiar with safety, environmental, and health standards.
• Technical understanding of maintenance, inspections, and the basics of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Organized and adaptable—can juggle multiple priorities, follow things through to completion, and comfortable using tools like CMMS and Microsoft applications.

This is an existing position with an annual salary range of $100,000 - $120,000.
