Product Technical Support Associate
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Product Technical Support Associate for a contract to hire job opportunity in Charlotte, NC! This position is with a team focused on assisting customers, partners, and internal stakeholders with technical inquiries and product selection. This role plays an important part in troubleshooting issues, preparing accurate quotes, and ensuring customers receive the correct solutions for their applications. This position is fully onsite Monday - Friday in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming phone and email inquiries from customers, partners, and sales teams seeking technical guidance and product information
- Recommend appropriate hardware solutions based on application requirements and usage
- Troubleshoot product-related issues and identify correct replacement components
- Prepare and process quotes and related documentation for customer projects
- Maintain and update project records, system applications, and pricing details
- Act as a communication bridge between customers, internal teams, and leadership
- Stay current on product changes, updates, and discontinued items
- Collaborate with product management and technical teams to fill support gaps as needed
- Assist with internal projects, training initiatives, and hands-on shop tasks when required
- Support trade show preparation, including setup and breakdown, as necessary
Qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B customer service experience, preferably within technical product support in manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly by phone, email, and in person
- Proficiency with standard business software and tools (email, spreadsheets, collaboration platforms, CRM systems)
- Solid problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive, service-minded approach
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply both metric and imperial measurements
Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
