A leading organization in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative for a contract to hire opportunity. As a third-party recruiting partner, LHH is working with the hiring team to identify candidates who are professional, customer-focused, and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys assisting customers, resolving account questions, and delivering a positive customer experience while working toward long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer communications via phone and email
• Assist customers with account inquiries, billing questions, and payment issues
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Research account activity and partner with internal teams to support issue resolution
• Document customer interactions, updates, and outcomes accurately in internal systems
• Utilize systems and reports to track customer activity and follow up as needed
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous experience in customer service, call center, or customer-facing roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and learning new systems
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Experience working with high-volume customer interactions
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or internal customer management systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly
