IT Service Technician

Labcorp is seeking an IT Service Technician to join our team in a field based role from Birmingham, Alabama.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• 100% Field Service Support - travelling to customer sites to provide IT support for hardware and software on a daily basis.
• Installing and servicing various IT equipment within assigned territory of Central and North Alabama.
• Overseeing and prioritizing daily support tickets through a computerized system
• Maintaining accurate daily installation and support records, inventory / RMA, time card, expense reports and mileage logs
• Responding to all customer complaints in a timely manner
• Triaging and reporting client issues to the appropriate departments
• Assisting with the training of new employees

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 1 or more years work experience in an IT support role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Information Technology

Additional Job Standards:

• Field based role across the assigned territory or Central and North Alabama
• Company vehicle provided for travel to client sites

Pay Range: $48,000 - $60,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
