As Key Accounts Manager – Taste & Nutrition, you will be responsible for managing and growing our Taste business into the IS market, in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
The candidate should have a proven entrepreneurial track record in the food industry, specifically in food ingredients and flavors business. This person will ensure that sales targets are met by expanding Kerry's customer base and satisfying customers' needs through providing high quality service and supply partnerships within the region.
This person is expected to hold a strategic view and approach on how to support and develop our business, manage, and lead a solid project pipeline with deep knowledge of each of the key projects and the health of each project and its probability for success to determine if additional investments/resources are required.
Relationship management with key stakeholders (R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Finance & supply chain) in key accounts. Lead cross functional teams to support selling initiatives with key accounts.
Managing the complete sales cycle & delivering on sales & margin targets.
Well respected with strong relationships with the large local and MNC food companies
An expert understanding food ingredients & flavor business.
Technical knowledge of food products & the processing involved.
A self-starter with ability to create solutions & build trust and respect with customers.
Working hand in hand with our R&D team, support in the development of industry leading, highly efficacious concepts to engage customers.
Developing strong customer alliances and promoting Kerry portfolio via participation in key industry events (e.g. tradeshows, seminars, and conferences).
Excellent presentation skills & strong analytic skills.
Very intuitive and have the proven ability to manage projects.
Ability to work to high ethical standards.
Minimum 7 years of experience working with flavors & food ingredients space; prior experience with flavors would be highly regarded.
Displays a passion for learning technical aspects of food ingredients.
A highly collaborative and team player who is an effective communicator and can deliver on the strategy with support from key internal stakeholders in the Kerry matrix structure.
Strong execution skills with the ability to remain agile, tracking to the fast paced and trending health and wellness categories.
This position will require travel across the IS geography and regional travel as required.
