Technical Support Specialist

Overview: We're seeking a skilled and service-oriented Technical Support Specialist. This role involves providing hands-on technical support for staff, including hardware and software troubleshooting, device installations, and maintenance in a Windows-based environment. You'll also assist with peripheral systems such as security cameras, servers, and network switches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment of desktops, laptops, handheld devices, and other peripherals.
  • Support Windows 11, Office 365, and various hardware platforms.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and technical support to onsite staff.
  • Occasionally work alongside individuals participating in supervised work programs.

Qualifications:

  • 1โ€“2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar technical role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Must be willing to submit to a post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Completion of a 2โ€“3 week onboarding and safety training program is required.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
