The Information Technology Intern will support various divisions within the City of Wichita IT Department through a rotational internship. The intern will gain hands-on experience by working across multiple functional teams including Service Desk, Application Development, Application Support, Business Relationship Management, GIS, Data Science, Operations, Network, SCADA and IT Security. Work is reviewed by a full-time staff member, and professional project work is directed and reviewed by staff members in professional exempt roles. This is an educational internship requiring active enrollment in a higher education program throughout the duration of employment. The internship will be on a yearly basis for up to 2 years. This position will require background check and fingerprinting.
