The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Operations Center (NOC) defends, manages, and monitors the network operating status and cyber security posture of the VA by providing the day-to-day management, monitoring, operations, and configuration of the Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) Gateways, the delivery of enterprise security systems and services, the conduct of threat and vulnerability analysis, the validation of adequate security controls within the enterprise, and the full range of functions across the spectrum of activities relating to incident management, incident response and enterprise network management.
GovCIO is currently hiring a Project Coordinator to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Project Management team and VA Executive staff on day-to-day operations, assist project plans on meeting deadlines, and reaching milestones along with collaboration with other team managers and stakeholders to establish efficient team utilization. Responsibilities include:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 5-8 years of experience. 5 years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree. Experience with large IT enterprise environments. Experience with Federal contracting. Must be able to pass and maintain a Tier 4 (BI) Government Background Investigation. Ability to achieve a PMP certification within 6 months of hire.
