We are seeking an Associate‑level Portfolio Implementation Specialist in New York to support the continued growth of our investment advisory firm. Your Role

As an Associate supporting the Portfolio Management Team at Jordan Park, you will help manage and oversee client portfolio investments. This includes the daily implementation and execution of trades across Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), ETFs, and mutual funds. You will also collaborate with the broader investment team to support initiatives across multiple strategies and asset classes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring portfolio positioning, trade execution, cash levels, and compliance with client guidelines and restrictions
  • Using proprietary tools and data systems to rebalance and optimize client portfolios
  • Partnering with Client Coverage and Investment teams to address client requests and manage lifecycle events (e.g., account openings, cash flows, rebalances, tax‑loss harvesting)
  • Supporting senior Portfolio Managers in the development and execution of firmwide investment theses
  • Working closely with sub‑advisors to communicate SMA objectives, facilitate funding and setup, and resolve operational or trading discrepancies
  • Collaborating with Operations and Compliance to document procedures and ensure portfolios follow investment guidelines
  • Supporting ongoing enhancements to trading and portfolio management systems
  • Assisting with investment workflows across Public, Private, and Alternative asset classes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing workflows and proposing process enhancements
  • Supporting client account onboarding and portfolio structuring

About You

  • Have a bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience
  • Are comfortable working market hours
  • Bring experience in Portfolio Management, Trading, or Operations
  • Have familiarity with trading/order management and reporting systems (e.g., Addepar, Charles River, Salesforce)
  • Have experience at a broker‑dealer, RIA, multi‑family office, or similar investment firm
  • Demonstrate strong interest in investments and portfolio management
  • Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Are highly detail‑oriented, accurate, and self‑motivated
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Enjoy solving problems and finding creative solutions
  • Are organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred, but not required:

  • Strong understanding of Equity and Fixed Income markets
  • Familiarity with Morningstar, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar market‑data and research platforms
  • Experience using Python, SQL, VBA, or APIs to automate workflows
  • Experience using Addepar for analysis and reporting

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation at Jordan Park includes base salary, discretionary year‑end bonus, benefits, and additional perks. We use a total‑rewards philosophy when determining compensation.

The expected base salary for this role in New York, New York will range from $110,000 - $120,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
