Customer Service Representative

Role: As a Customer Service Representative, you will help drive our goals by:
- Providing customers with routine feedback as to the status of their open orders, managing expectations where necessary;
- Identifying and escalating potential supply gaps early, providing both JM & the customer with the best opportunity to react;
- Liaising with the rest of the JM supply chain & quality departments to help prioritise customer requirements;
- Ensuring JM's business interests are respected, enforcing SLAs where necessary;
- Resolving customer complaints in a timely & satisfactory manner;
- Supporting the Johnson Matthey Commercial department, where reasonably called upon, to provide information & insight into supply chain processes;
- Protecting Johnson Matthey's brand & reputation by always maintaining a high degree of professionalism when communicating with external customers;
- Being responsible for customer invoicing and customer returns & complaints. Directly manages the relationship with customers in the next tier of the supply chain;
- Supports the OEM relationships managed by the commercial team;
- Liaising with many other JM departments, including: Supply Chain, Quality and Credit Control to provide the best possible level of customer service;
- Monitors and reports on the success & failures of the supply chain through defined KPIs.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Experience in a similar role – min. 5 years;
- Experience working within an automotive or manufacturing supply chain;
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) and Polish;
- Experience with MS Office applications (Excel);
- Experience with SAP;
- Experience with BI reports will be an asset;
- High attention to detail;
- Ability to remain calm in under pressure situations;
- Ability to contribute to continuous improvement.
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of German, both spoken and written.
