We are looking for an IT generalist with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will be part of the IT team of Johnson Controls in the DACH and Global IT area and support our users in Austria.
Your tasks
In this position, you will take over the extended IT support and the management of end-user computing operations. Your place of work is Vienna. Travel to other Austrian locations is required if necessary. Your core tasks include:
Second-level support for Intune-managed devices, Office-365 applications, and enterprise endpoints (Windows, iOS, Android).
Analysis and resolution of escalated problems from L1 and global L3 teams to ensure a quick and efficient resolution of incidents and service requests.
Management of IT operations such as Microsoft Intune administration, Office-365 services, patch management, and compliance with endpoint security policies.
Support of asset management processes, including physical inventory, PC imaging, deployment, and hardware lifecycle management.
Inform users about IT best practices, cybersecurity measures, MFA, and support onboarding and training.
Provision of "hands and eyes" support on site for global IT teams, including physical troubleshooting, hardware checks, and support of tasks that require a local presence.
What we are looking for
Required
Experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
Expertise in Intune device management, Microsoft 365 management, and Windows troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, cloud services, and best practices in cybersecurity.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced IT environment.
Confident priority management and professional demeanor.
Fluent in German and English.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
CompTIA Security+ / Network+ / A+

For this position (full-time 38.5 hours) a minimum collective bargaining agreement salary of 3,400 € (metal industry collective bargaining agreement) is provided. A significant overpayment depends on your qualifications and professional experience.
