Client Service Manager Industrial Refrigeration

Are you technically strong, service-oriented, and feel responsible for both customer satisfaction and results? Do you get energy from managing complex service contracts, conducting substantive customer conversations, and collaborating with technical teams?

As a Client Service Manager Industrial Refrigeration at Johnson Controls, you are responsible for managing and developing service contracts (SLAs) and realizing smaller service projects for industrial customers. You are the primary contact for a number of strategic accounts and play a central role within our Industrial Refrigeration Service organization.

Your role within Johnson Controls

You work within Service Operations and report to the Operations Manager Service NL. From Gorinchem, supplemented with regular customer visits, you ensure continuity, quality, and growth within your accounts.

You are ultimately responsible for the operational and financial performance of service contracts, service projects, and L&M activities (Labour & Material) in industrial environments, including:

  • Food & Beverage
  • (Petro)chemical industry
  • Other industrial applications

Your responsibilities

Operational

  • Act as project manager for service assignments and smaller projects.
  • Review and discuss service and maintenance reports.
  • Initiate and manage corrective measures, both internally and with the customer.
  • Prepare quotes based on service findings and optimizations.
  • Coordinate and execute service assignments, including:
    • ordering materials
    • planning activities
    • engaging suppliers and subcontractors
  • Lead kick-off meetings, toolbox meetings, and workplace inspections.
  • Ensure proper financial completion of service assignments.

Commercial

  • Develop and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Actively increase customer satisfaction and contract value.
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within your accounts.
  • Conduct substantive advisory and growth discussions aimed at sustainable revenue growth.

People management

  • Together with the Field Operations Manager (FOM), guide and develop service technicians.
  • Ensure clear task distribution, coaching, and knowledge transfer.
  • Guarantee performance, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction within your accounts.
