Salesforce Strategic Account Executive, Health & Life Sciences (HLS)

This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic growth and innovation within the Health & Life Sciences sector by leveraging Salesforce solutions and cutting-edge AI technologies. The Salesforce Strategic Account Executive will own the full sales cycle, build strong relationships with enterprise clients, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative business outcomes. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders, offering the chance to influence client strategy and accelerate adoption of advanced AI and CRM capabilities. The position combines strategic account leadership with hands-on solution selling, providing a fast-paced, collaborative environment for professionals passionate about innovation and client success. Travel and flexible working arrangements are supported to enable effective engagement with customers.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the end-to-end sales process for Health & Life Sciences accounts, including lead management, pipeline development, qualification, solution evaluation, and closure
  • Build and maintain strong executive relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor and "quarterback" across internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner closely with Salesforce teams, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and leadership to identify opportunities, deliver solutions, and maximize customer value
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and lead follow-up within Salesforce CRM
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on new logo acquisition and account expansion
  • Continuously ensure a high-quality customer experience through timely, consultative interactions
  • Acquire and maintain relevant Salesforce certifications to enhance credibility and expertise

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of success in large services or technology accounts
  • 2–3+ years of experience selling software solutions to Health & Life Sciences organizations
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and experience with end-to-end implementations
  • Experience selling complex, technology-driven solutions with measurable business impact
  • Executive presence and excellent communication skills, able to engage with senior decision-makers
  • Enthusiastic team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and is motivated to drive results
  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degrees are a plus
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%) and work flexibly to meet client needs
