Sales Coordinator - Wholesale / Drug Division - US Retail Coffee, Frozen Handhelds & Spreads
Provide key support within the sales organization for Wholesale and Drug Channel - US Retail Coffee, Frozen Handhelds and Spreads Sales Team. You will collaborate and work cross functionally with teams across the commercial organization by leading Sales Performance Management process with internal and external sales team to enable improved selling effectiveness and business results.
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota at JM Smucker Sales Office
Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires.
In this role you will:
- Own custom reporting needs, developing, updating and interpreting data to provide insights to sales team and support ad hoc business needs
- Support customer Joint Business Development process through opportunity assessment, content development, and activity tracking
- Support annual promotional planning, weekly/monthly reporting, and on-going maintenance in the internal JMS Trade Planning System
- Partner with sales team to develop customer presentations for new items, business reviews, and sales priority planning process
- Support Sales Volume Forecast Planning & Analysis
- Develop strong understanding of customer business strategies, systems and resources to support sales team with focus on continual improvement
- Provide administrative support and participation in customer selling shows, including pre-show, on-site, and post-show close
- Monitor and recap JMS / Competitor merchandising performance via 'Numerator' data-base tracking
Accelerate Team Performance
- Own & maintain SharePoint site and calendars for team, support record keeping expectations
- Lead coordination for sales team business reviews
- Support invoicing/payment processing for the team as needed
- Assist in the preparations of market visits & key internal and customer meetings
- Support ongoing special project work, product samples, office supply needs, etc.
