What This Job Involves:
As a Construction Project Coordinator at JLL, you will hold a critical position within our regional projects team, directly supporting the delivery of challenging corporate interiors projects for a financial services client. This role combines project coordination with financial administration, requiring you to work collaboratively with internal teams while proactively managing project-related issues. You'll serve as a vital communication link between team members, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring all parties stay informed of project updates and changes while maintaining the highest standards of documentation and financial accuracy.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Look Like:
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders, and vendors regarding project updates and changes
- Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, change orders, financial reports, and progress updates
- Process and record daily financial transactions while maintaining accurate financial records and compliance
- Work with Accounting team members, serving as liaison between Accounting and Design/Construction teams
- Review and process project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoices within Project Management systems
- Ensure adherence to vendor agreements relating to contracts, affidavits, and lien waivers
- Confirm accuracy of financial transactions against budgets and contracts
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years practical experience in construction or accounting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Well-versed in construction methodologies with strong understanding of construction stages from concept to close out
- Ability to think and work independently while demonstrating initiative and collaboration skills
- Software proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented and organized with proactive, self-motivated attitude
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines while managing multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Familiarity with GMP contracts and other types of construction contracts
- Experience with PMWeb project management software
- Experience working with financial services clients
- Knowledge of corporate interiors construction processes
- Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements

Estimated total compensation for this position: 65,000.00 – 80,000.00 USD per year. The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
