Based at our client site office, the role serves as the APAC finance lead for a global financial institution account, providing strategic financial leadership, stakeholder management, and overseeing budgeting, reporting, benchmarking, and data integrity across APAC locations.
Leadership
- Provide clear direction and strategic financial advice to the team across the APAC region
- Sets objectives and measurable goals and motivates others to achieve them
- Maintain relevant policies and procedures with respect to financial and support services associated with the account
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary liaison for APAC Account Director and Global Finance Director of the client account
- Finance business partnering with JLL's country internal finance teams to ensure the correctness of account P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
- Serve as the single point of contact for both regional and country-level client stakeholders
Budgeting and Reporting
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of the team across the APAC region with respect to: Information, Report production, Financial Administration
- Ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to all members of management team
- Ensure adequate flow of information that results in accountability and ownership
- Ensure timely production of annual budgets for the portfolio in conjunction with Regional Operations Director and Country Account Managers
- Maintain thorough understanding of client's accounting structure and associated systems and translating knowledge to ensure smooth and consistent flow of financial data
- Develop, maintain and deliver in timely manner the Client's approved financial formats across the region
- Prepare and analyze multi-x monthly financial data, timely production of account annual budgets/forecast and monthly reporting pack
Benchmarking and Analytics
- Develop systems and processes to enable benchmarking analytics across the client's portfolio, including but not limited to cost and energy savings and operational service delivery
- Facilitate the implementation of JLL technology to enhance the delivery of benchmarking analytics to the client as and when required
- Oversee and coordinate activities of the team across the region with respect to: Savings tracking and reporting, Contract management. Meeting client satisfaction and key performance indicators
Data Management, Policies & Procedures and Audit
- Ensure data integrity of the systems across the region and audit data
- Ensure that appropriate process and system controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of all transactions
- Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting is audit worthy and in keeping with recognized quality management processes
- Ensure all staff are well trained on financial systems and effectively able to extract data from the system
