Assistant Account Executive

The Assistant Account Executive will work a hybrid schedule from our Atlanta, GA office.

Responsibilities

  • Compares coverages & policy language for placement of new & renewal business
  • Underwrites new business & existing renewals to determine carrier acceptability & competitive pricing
  • Review submissions & provide decisions on which markets to access for various types of coverage, rates & prepares quotes
  • Prepares complex insurance submissions for brokerage markets
  • Develops new & existing agent/client relationships with both formally and informally to gather feedback
  • Attends company events which host our carriers to strengthen our rapport requirements

Requirements

  • Prior experience supporting Property Brokerage Practice and/or Retail Agency experience. Professional negotiation, interpersonal, written, & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize & multi-task with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrate proper judgement & decision-making skills
  • Capable of marketing, quoting, & binding of all Commercial Lines Risks
  • Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded.
