Job Description

As a Key Account Manager (w|m|d) you are responsible for building and maintaining successful relationships with our regional customers and implementing the national customer development strategy. Your duties include:

  • Independently managing regional trade centers in close coordination with the national account manager
  • Sales and profit responsibility for achieving business goals (sales, revenue, profit, customer profitability, etc.)
  • Planning the business and developing concrete customer plans to exploit existing potential
  • Developing and implementing joint value creation strategies for business growth with regional trade centers
  • Implementing marketing plans and brand initiatives with customers
  • Responsibility for achieving KPIs such as listing and distribution targets, secondary placement shares, etc.
  • Implementing assortment-specific guidelines
  • Close cooperation with the area organization both for achieving KPIs and for managing all relevant stakeholders of the concerned regional trade center

Qualifications

For this role as a Key Account Manager (w|m|d) we are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Successfully completed business administration studies or equivalent training
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a junior or regional KAM role in the FMCG environment
  • Good knowledge of the German retail sector
  • Communication skills and entrepreneurial approach
  • Strong hands-on mentality and team orientation
  • Analytical thinking and conceptual strength
  • Fluent German and English
