As a Junior Account Manager, you will be part of an enthusiastic sales team, where you will report together with other Junior Account Managers and a Key Account Manager to the Sales Manager. With this team you will work together on the results of a number of large customers.

In this starter position with a lot of responsibility, you will have the variety of customer contact on the one hand and analysis on the other. As a Junior Account Manager Retail, you are part of the enterprising sales team and you will interact a lot with other departments such as Logistics, Demand Planning, Marketing, Finance, the sales force, and of course our customers. You will gain a broad insight into the FMCG and retail market and directly contribute to the results of JDE Peet's.

What you will do as Junior Account Manager Retail:

  • You will follow and analyze the developments on the customer side regarding sales, revenue, profit and market data (ex-factory and GFK/Nielsen);
  • You will support the commercial process both internally and externally and manage the account budgets;
  • You will coordinate the logistical process of all promotions both internally and externally;
  • You will support the Sales Manager and Account Manager in the preparation, management and execution of account plans. You will join them in sales meetings and prepare these meetings carefully;
  • You will plan the tailor-made promotional activities and account activities and carry them out.
