Technical Delivery Manager

Our client is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the transformation of their unified sportsbook platform. Working closely with the Product Director and Engineering Director, the successful candidate will oversee the development of the platform, designed to serve over 500,000 active users worldwide. The role requires sportsbook domain expertise, strong technical acumen, and an agile mindset to drive high-impact initiatives while optimizing delivery processes.

The Technical Delivery Manager will report to the Director of Delivery and the Director of Sportsbook Platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of complex sportsbook initiatives such as feed integrations, trading systems, and betting engines.
• Shaping team culture by supporting agility, fostering cross-team collaboration, and encouraging openness and shared accountability.
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, and Technical Leads to align technical execution with business objectives.
• Managing dependencies, risks, and blockers across multiple concurrent sportsbook projects.
• Working creatively with stakeholders to meet delivery timelines while upholding quality standards.
• Context-switching between technical domains including feeds, trading, betting, and analytics.
• Reviewing impediments and providing guidance to resolve blockers.
• Defining improvement plans and establishing metrics to monitor progress and efficiency.

Knowledge and skills:

• Fluent English (C1 preferred; B2 acceptable with commitment to rapid improvement).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Sportsbook/iGaming industry.
• 5+ years of project/product management experience within complex distributed IT systems.
• Proven experience in large-scale IT platform transformations or legacy system replacements.
• Strong understanding of trading workflows, odds feeds, betting markets, and risk management.
• Familiarity with leading industry providers such as LSports, BetRadar, and TxOdds, including related integration challenges.
• Knowledge of microservices, API integrations, and real-time data processing.
• Experience with .NET technology stacks, cloud platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Miro.
• Flexibility to collaborate across multiple time zones (Europe, Central/South America, Asia).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.

Bonus qualifications:

• CAE certificate.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Developer or QA.
• Scrum Master certification (preferred: ACSM, PSM II; acceptable: CSM, PSM I).
• Knowledge of scaling frameworks such as SAFe, Nexus, or LeSS.

Location: Europe or LATAM (ideally Spain or Argentina), with most of the team operating in CET and GMT-5 time zones.
