Key Account Manager (Business Access Manager M/F/D)

We are seeking a resilient, strategic, and self-driven Key Account Manager (Business Access Manager M/F/D) to lead biosimilar product innovations in a client dedicated role.

You will be responsible for driving market access and maximizing sales growth across your territory (Niedersachsen) managing commercial activities. This includes engaging with key stakeholders, navigating healthcare systems, and outperforming competition to open and develop new markets, establishing our client as a trusted partner in the biosimilars/biologics market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional access and sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts, prescribers, and healthcare decision-makers.
  • Identify target customers through maintaining and analyzing customer records. Produce an appropriate territory business plan
  • Educate target audiences on the value proposition of our biosimilar product portfolio.
  • Identify access barriers and develop tailored solutions to gain market entry and drive adoption
  • Utilize CRM and planning tools to track progress and optimize outreach.
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Lead local market access initiatives and support internal teams with training and market insights

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
  • Proficient in German and English
  • 1-3 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales in the hospital, preferably with biosimilars or specialty care
  • Experience in biosimilars or therapy areas such as Rare Disease, Haematology, Nephrology, Immunology, Oncology, Endocrinology, Orthopaedics, or Rheumatology is a plus
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems at national and local levels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

This is a field based role, any other non field days are in homeoffice.
