We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Program Management Office team focused on product release, regional expansion, and discontinuation. This Project Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional groups and execute process-specific activities to meet project milestones, while also ensuring compliance with established Design Control and Project Management processes. This person needs to be proactive, a strong communicator, relationship builder, detail-oriented, and have investigative and critical thinking skills. Essential Job Duties:

  • Work with Project Managers defining, executing, and tracking project requirements, task definitions, release, and discontinuation activities.
  • Monitor and report project status for project milestones, documentation, and deliverables.
  • Review projects for possible interference/variances to schedule and/or specifications: proactively organize efforts to alleviate bottlenecks, speed execution, or identify potential project risks.
  • Coordinate and follow up on activities of team leader / program manager; represent the team and assigned projects where necessary.
  • Support/Lead team meetings including taking minutes and tracking action items.
  • Initiate, develop and implement departmental, process related improvements.
  • Work across product release, regional expansion, and discontinuation on milestone activities and implementation tasks.
  • Write and manage Engineering Change Order (ECO) submissions, reviews, and closure within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Develop deep knowledge of products, configuration, regional and business requirements.
  • Solid understanding of Quality Systems or Design Controls for Medical Devices.
  • Strong collaboration and direct participation with project management, product management, regulatory, compliance, and business systems teams.
  • Track Issues, coordinate last minute changes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Good organizational and investigative skills.
  • Proactive problem solver.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Advanced Professional Level).
  • Relationship builder.
  • Ability to switch between many different projects quickly.
  • Passion for rapidly executing projects creating robust and reliable products.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with PLM software (Agile), SAP, and Tableau strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of previous working experience in a project management-related position desired, medical devices experience strongly preferred.
  • Additional specialized training in a discipline such as computers, document control, and/or planning and scheduling is a plus.
  • Project management training, such as PMP, is a plus.
  • Familiar with waterfall, SCRUM, and hybrid project management techniques, a plus.
  • Active user of Microsoft Project or other project planning and tracking tools.
  • Proficiency in Oracle/Agile, SAP, Tableau a plus.
