Responsibilities

The Culinary Sales Coordinator does the following.

• Collaborates with the department Director to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures around:
• Key performance indicators (KPIs)
• New territory
• Targets
• Training
• Manages and mentors Culinary Sales Specialists and Associates:
• Reinforces the mission and objectives:
• Continuous improvement
• Quality service
• Teamwork
• Accompanies them on sales calls
• Evaluates their performance against targets and KPIs
• Cultivates curiosity; invests in their personal and professional development
• Handles daily inquiries on behalf of the department
• Manages an issue-resolution budget to make low-cost executive decisions
• Resolves issues decisively and quickly
• Resolves issues with a prevention mindset: proactively helps improve practices to prevent similar issues in the future
• Resolves operational concerns such as inventory inquiries, product mis-picks, and significantly delayed and missed deliveries
• Resolves procurement concerns such as receiving ETAs
• Designs, develops, and assists with educational and training initiatives related to:
• Best practices; continuous process improvement
• Business conduct
• ERP proficiency
• Products and vendors
• Product reach (sales strategy)
• Learns, maintains awareness of, and advocates for the perspectives of other departments and teams:
• Builds relationships with peer Coordinators
• Collaborates with other departments and teams to design workflows that improve communications, coordination, and quality of service
• Contributes to the team by performing other work as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in sales or related field
• Minimum three years leadership experience; demonstrated ability to successfully lead and direct a team
• Strong organizations skills and ability to create actionable insights
• Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to build rapport quickly with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Dynamics, Excel, Forms, Outlook, Planner, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
• Aggressive in identifying opportunities for improvement; strong implementation abilities
• Experience with creating and delivering trainings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
