Hardware Audit Technician
Location: Durham, NC Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM (no weekends) Hourly Rate: $16.50 (weekly)
Inova Staffing is seeking a motivated individual to join our client's tech department at their electronic recycling warehouse in Durham, NC. If you have a solid foundation in electronics and thrive in a detail-oriented role, we want to hear from you!
In this combined role, you will be responsible for both auditing laptops and testing various consumer electronics, including home audio systems and cameras.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits on laptops to verify they meet required quality standards, troubleshoot issues, and ensure functionality.
- Test and troubleshoot home audio systems, cameras, and other consumer electronics, conducting quality audits to ensure they meet hardware standards.
- Document findings, track inventory, and maintain accurate records of testing, repairs, and ongoing projects.
- Identify, resolve, and document any issues found through thorough testing and evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting high production goals.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic understanding of computer components and electronics
- Previous experience in troubleshooting or testing electronics is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
