Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data upload and check for documentation completeness for investment vehicle filings
- Extract data from Clients platforms for various investment vehicles
- Leverage tax software to prepare filings and structured data files
- Perform quality control checks to ensure data is complete and accurate
- Leverage our in-app tools to help clients manage their tax filings and data management
- Ensure for updating the UK company register with list of members present in investment vehicles
- Obtain tax ID numbers from the UK/US tax authorities for the investment vehicles
- Assist the team with investment exits and preparation of distribution breakdowns and notices to client
- Generally, assist the team with major filing deadlines throughout the year
- Assist the treasury team with cash reconciliations and setting up payments to clients
- Play a key role in developing new processes for the team to implement for the future
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- 3+ years of experience in the preparation of accounts or tax filings
- Comfortable using tax and accounting software to generate financial statements and tax returns
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Strong prioritization skills and experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- You can manage competing demands on your time while persevering to solve challenging problems
- Excited to work on general team projects and initiatives to improve processes
- Client success sparks joy! You are proactive and resourceful in delivering positive outcomes every single day
- High attention to detail: written and quantitative. You must be confident navigating your way around complex legal documents (ideally funds-related)
- Organized and calm under pressure, you are able to manage competing demands on your time, whilst persevering to solve ambiguous problems
- Passionate and knowledgeable about Venture Capital: you intimately understand the pressures facing our clients and are ready to roll up your sleeves in a fast paced environment
