Job Description

Are you passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences? Join our team in Nelson, Canada, as a Seasonal Customer Experience Representative and help us spread joy during our busiest time of the year! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who love interacting with people and have a knack for providing outstanding service.

  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for our customers
  • Engage in friendly and helpful interactions with customers on the sales floor
  • Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
  • Share product knowledge and tell compelling stories about our merchandise
  • Maintain a neat and organized store appearance
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
  • Adapt to changing customer needs and store priorities
  • Participate in maintaining visual merchandising standards
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team atmosphere
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
  • Stay informed about promotions, new products, and store policies

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic retail environment
  • Enthusiasm for learning about new products and services
  • Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds, using proper techniques
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systems
  • Problem-solving aptitude to address customer concerns effectively
  • Team player mentality with a willingness to support colleagues
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
  • Retail experience preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
