Position Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented MDDU CBRN Tech Support Specialist Level I to join our team! You will act as a site manager, conduct CBRN detection operations, manage and maintain file systems, and support fleet management. You will also adhere to professional standards and codes of conduct, present information on the Mobile Detection Deployment Program, and conduct training on policies, procedures, protocols, and equipment.

Required Skills You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you must have an active Secret security clearance or higher, the ability to obtain DHS suitability, and experience in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear detection and CBRN training and exercises. You should have 10 years of experience in radiological and nuclear detection and training, special event operational experience, and knowledge of various equipment including radiation detection systems, personal radiation detectors, and spectroscopic devices. Certifications and training in NIMS, ICS, radiation fundamental training, and screener preventative certifications are required. You must demonstrate excellent decision making and critical thinking skills, have excellent verbal and communication skills, and be proficient in the use of computers, A/V equipment, and Microsoft Office products. You must also have a valid driver's license and experience towing larger trailers including a fifth wheel, and a Class B CDL license or ability to obtain one within 3 months of being hired.

Desired Skills You'll Bring

Biological and chemical detection experience is desired, and a bachelor's degree is desired.

Security Clearance Requirement

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range

$86,700.00 - $151,700.00
