Lead Client Success Manager

The Lead Client Success Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of implementation and onboarding for new and renewing Premier Local and National clients. This role ensures seamless transitions from Sales to Operations, acting as the primary point of accountability, ensures stakeholder alignment, manages escalations, and leads cross-functional teams throughout all onboarding activities.

Key responsibilities include: leading cross-functional teams to deliver timely and accurate benefit setups and product integrations for Premier IBX clients, owning end-to-end implementation timelines, risk mitigation, and deliverables, serving as the strategic liaison between clients, brokers, sales, and internal SMEs, ensuring alignment with sold solutions and operational readiness, and providing executive-level updates and strategic recommendations to improve turnaround times and issue resolution.

Required skills and experience include: 8+ years in client-facing health payer, account management, program or implementation management roles, foundational knowledge in Large Group Health payer functions from client intent capture through to ID cards, proven leadership in managing complex, high-stakes client engagements, strong executive communication and storytelling skills, deep understanding of operational workflows and compliance, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, travel may be required, and a Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of experience. Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
