Technical Account Manager for the Advanced Materials Business Unit. Covering the West Coast territory, the candidate must be located in California, this is a fully remote role.
This role will be responsible for managing accounts using thermosets, experience with resins (epoxy, polyurethanes, etc.) is a must.

The Technical Account Manager has a dynamic and challenging role and plays an important part in IMCD's objective to grow earnings for our strategic principals. Successful candidates will be responsible to:

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or General Sciences preferred. Five years of sales experience in the chemical or related industry. Experience in Thermosets.
Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree or Technical degree. Formulation and/or formula production experience is a plus. Experience in Plastic, Rubber, or Composite markets preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job currently operates in a remote work environment.
Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed. Travel: Travel required, around 40%.
