We have an exciting opportunity for a technically and commercially astute superstar to take on this Key Account Manager role. Reporting to the Market Manager- Coatings, our new Key Account Manager, based in Mulgrave, will service and develop Key Accounts to drive sales. Responsibilities include:
About you
Qualification- Tertiary Qualification in the relevant field (e.g. Chemistry, Cement Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering) or extensive experience in the industry.
Experience - Prior experience in a similar role within industries such as Coatings, Construction, Cement, Adhesives, Printing or Packaging is essential. Time within manufacturing would be desirable, but not a must.
Technical Knowledge- You will have the technical knowledge required to understand customer requirements such as the formulation and application of resins, coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives, sealants and other related raw materials.
Well-developed communication skills – you will be communicating and building relationships across all levels within and outside IMCD A can-do attitude – our values are central to all that we do. You will go a long way if you use your initiative and common sense, and are happy to roll your sleeves up and support the wider team while being able to work independently.
