Job Summary

We are hiring a Project Coordinator to be part of the Cat Digital Operations and Support organization. You will handle day-to-day activities related to application support of the Cat Digital portfolio of products.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in project planning and development: Collaborate with project managers to create detailed project plans, including roadmap and milestones.
  • Coordinate project activities: Ensure timely completion of project tasks by coordinating efforts of team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress: Track project performance using appropriate tools and report on progress to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project-related inquiries and facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

What You Will Have

  • IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
  • Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Consideration for Top Candidates

  • Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
  • Extensive experience creating and managing team workloads in Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Lead the coordination of Scrum teams
  • Microsoft PowerBI (Prefer)

Additional Details

This position will be based out of our Peoria, IL or Chicago, IL office. Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position. Visa sponsorship is NOT available with this position.

Summary Pay Range

$87,480.00 - $131,280.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
