Veterinary Account Manager, Nürnberg
As a consultant for veterinary diagnostics, you are primarily responsible for the sale of the IDEXX product portfolio in the field of veterinary medical diagnostics, as well as for the establishment and expansion of close customer relationships. In this role in the field, you win customers through professional and business exchange solutions from the IDEXX product and service portfolio. You also support veterinary practices and clinics in expanding their in-house diagnostics and thus establish yourself as a valued partner.
The mediation of our company values and the expansion of existing customer relationships are essential to meet the needs of our customers and offer them an individually tailored solution.
What can you expect in this role?
- You independently manage your area and fully advise your customer base on the use of possible diagnostic procedures, veterinary medical laboratory and rapid tests, as well as practice-internal analysis devices and consumables.
- You work with other IDEXX sales experts in the region to jointly close the sale of capital goods.
- You reflect customer needs and competitive questions to the marketing organization and management of IDEXX. In this context, you also work closely with laboratory departments to ensure that customer questions are satisfactorily answered and resolved.
- You convey the values of IDEXX to our customers in a professional manner and can use your knowledge in the context of our industry, our veterinary medical customers, and our technologies in a targeted manner.
What you need for success:
- A completed bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience is desirable.
- Although experience in the care of sales areas can be advantageous, we also encourage veterinarians without corresponding sales experience to apply.
- Your previous expertise may come from the veterinary/animal health industry or alternatively from the sale of human medical products, dental products, and/or capital goods.
- Whether you have sales experience or not, the ability to work in a highly team-oriented, cooperative, and sales-oriented environment is important.
- The position requires a willingness to travel, including extensive car trips (company car provided), occasional overnight stays and flexibility for possible weekend work at trade fairs or other events.
- Good German and English language skills in speech and writing are required.
