Summary This position exists to ensure efficient operation of all industrial mechanical equipment for the facility. This includes mechanical maintenance, lubrication, sanitation, troubleshooting and repair of all equipment from Raw Receiving to Stretch Wrapping and at the Water Recovery Plant. The individual in this position will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of the industrial mechanical equipment throughout the facility and have the ability to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates.
Key Responsibilities
Must be able to perform sound welds in accordance with the qualifications required by applicable welding code, standards, and/or project specifications include wire feed, stick, Heliarc, Oxy-Acetylene and sanitary (food-safe) welds for repair and fabrication required. This must be learned.
Lubrication Technician / Facilities Ensures that equipment including, but not limited to pumps, motors, hydraulic systems and product transport system are properly lubricated following the specifications of the Company or the manufacturer.
Packaging Maintenance Technician Troubleshoots and makes minor and major repairs of packaging area equipment in order to prevent or minimize industrial plant downtime.
Water Recovery Maintenance Technician Troubleshoots and makes minor and major repairs of equipment at the Water Recovery Plant in order to prevent or minimize industrial plant downtime.
Processing Maintenance Technician Troubleshoots and makes minor and major repairs of processing and cutting equipment in order to prevent or minimize industrial plant downtime.
Typical Education Technical/vocational certification (or equivalent)
Relevant Experience + High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree or technical certification preferred. + Two years of industrial or food processing mechanical experience required. + Able to perform sound welds in accordance with the qualifications required by applicable welding code, standards, and/or project specifications include wire feed, stick, Heliarc, Oxy-Acetylene and sanitary (food-safe) welds for repair and fabrication required. + Must provide required tools (see tools list). + Combination of education and experience will be considered.
Other Information Tool list required to be acquired by incumbent offered role, prior to start. No relocation assistance offered for this role. Shift: 6pm-6am Pay: $36.28+ Nightshift Differential
