Project Coordinator, Medical Communications

As a Project Coordinator, Medical Communications at ICON, you will play a key role in supporting communication activities for a global biotech/pharmaceutical client. You'll help ensure smooth coordination across teams, high-quality content delivery, and effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate clear and timely communication between internal teams and external partners
  • Organise and host monthly events and meetings
  • Manage administrative tasks, including preparing speaker notes and liaising with key contributors
  • Provide content support across communication materials
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Lead meeting logistics, including agenda planning and follow-up actions
  • Prepare monthly client reports and track project progress

Your Profile

You bring a solid foundation in medical communications and the confidence to work independently while supporting and guiding colleagues when needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare discipline
  • Extensive experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and terminology
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
