Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive experience with our company. This role is crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while resolving inquiries efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist customers with product information, order status, and any issues they may encounter.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our database.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department as necessary.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and satisfaction is achieved.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and service delivery.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in customer service or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computers and customer service software.
