This role is a temporary 12 month contract. Working within the UK Sales and Service Organisation, based in Gloucester, the successful candidate will be part of a growing department in the Construction Division.

Responsibilities and key tasks:

  • Handling high volume of telephone calls, Email & Fax
  • Take & Process Sales orders from above
  • Handle customer enquiries with regard to deliveries, orders, discounts, part numbers, pricing, product specifications etc.
  • Raise Credit Notes
  • Promoting offers when dealing with a customer to maximise sales, where applicable
  • Carrier queries & POD queries
  • Develop good communication processes both with internal teams across the group and external business partners

Any other duties relating to this role

Additional skills/ qualifications required:

  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a good calm telephone manner
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Package such as excel, word and outlook
  • Be competent in using Multiple systems
  • Have a pro-active approach to the business
  • Good customer service background preferred
