What You Will Do:
- Target Identification & Opportunity Generation
- Research and prioritize high-value prospects aligned with HSM's growth strategy.
- Drive outbound outreach with persistence and creativity to generate leads.
- Own your pipeline—contributing directly to new business wins and expanded market reach.
- Sales Execution & Account Conversion
- Engage prospects with a consultative sales style, uncovering needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Guide opportunities through qualification, quoting, and close with urgency and discipline.
- Build credibility and trust to transform first wins into long-term partnerships.
- Customer & Channel Engagement
- Develop strong relationships with OEMs, dealers, fleets, and upfitters.
- Navigate competitive bid processes to secure spec-in opportunities and contract awards.
- Collaborate with industry influencers and channel partners to multiply impact.
- Market Presence & Insight
- Represent HSM at trade shows, events, and customer visits with confidence.
- Explore emerging market segments and share insights that shape product and sales strategy.
- Serve as the customer's voice internally to drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).
- 5+ years of outside sales experience, with at least 3 years in business development or account executive roles.
- Proven success in B2B new account acquisition; experience selling into OEMs or transportation/manufacturing sectors strongly preferred.
- Formal sales training (Challenger, SPIN, Sandler, etc.) a plus.
- Strong communicator—equally comfortable with technical teams and C-suite leaders.
- Self-starter with excellent pipeline discipline and CRM proficiency.
- Resilience and determination to thrive in long-cycle, consultative sales environments.
- Schedule: Hybrid with ~30% travel
