Account Coordinator

The Account Coordinator assists Account Executives (AEs) with overall marketing and promotions coordination efforts. Duties include but are not limited to: being the liaison between Sales, Production & Promotions departments. Job responsibilities include: entering, reviewing, and revising orders and providing traffic department with instructions and spots; confirming payment and sending to business manager; pulling weekly inventory reports for management; managing preemptions; requesting inventory updates for makegood offer; researching rating point equivalent; offering makegoods; following through with AE for makegood approval; confirming/processing orders/makegoods in Wide Orbit, EPort, AE Inbox, and Katz Media Group; requesting copy points, logos, and/or images, and prizes from client to production; revenue, competitive, and historical reports in Wide Orbit; entering missing copy through VCreative; creating PowerPoint event recaps for clients detailing all elements included; and reconciling invoices at the end of the month for those advertisers that require notarized paperwork. Co-op process may include translations of TV and/or radio creative and research paperwork for credit memos. Sales back-up when/as needed.

Required skills & experience: one-year minimum experience in tangible or intangible sales; detail oriented & strong organizational skills; good customer service; strong verbal and written English language communication skills; able to work in a multi-task work environment; computer skills including Windows 200/XP, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required.

Desired skills & experience: fluent in Spanish (read and write); eligibility requirements: must be willing to work from office in Houston, TX; employment/education will be verified; applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
