Account Manager

We are looking for a driven Account Manager for the EMEA region with a technical background and commercial skills to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about understanding customer needs, identifying sales opportunities and working hands-on with a total cost mindset, this might be your chance! The position is based in Europe, preferably in Sweden or Germany.

As an Account Manager at Höganäs, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales mainly across Germany, the UK and Scandinavian countries. Your role will involve addressing customer questions and expectations, handling inquiries such as assortment requests, specification changes, and new items, as well as negotiating prices and setting terms. You will work on establishing account plans in alignment with the Business Plan strategy, ensuring that sales activities are closely tracked using reporting tools on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis, and continuously reviewing customer product portfolios.

In addition to driving customer satisfaction, you will handle cash collection follow-ups, propose credit limits, and ensure payment terms are in accordance with the Governance Directive. You will also be responsible for coordinating investigations, managing customer complaints, and addressing customer-specific requirements by following established procedures. Regular customer visits are essential to build strong relationships and understand their needs.

Your role includes providing monthly and quarterly updates on sales results, forecasts, and bonuses, as well as planning, coordinating, and documenting key customer activities. You will gather market intelligence on customer needs and applications and actively build networks both internally and externally. Collaboration with the technical sales team, internal sales, and sales coordination will be key to your success.

Additionally, you will collect competitive intelligence regarding products, processes, and activities to stay ahead in the market. A thorough understanding of relevant quality and environmental systems, as well as group policies, will be crucial in ensuring compliance throughout your work. You will be expected to perform all duties within the framework of Höganäs' policies and regulations, incorporating the company's values, vision, and principles in all your actions and decisions.

This is a non-leadership, sales-oriented role focused on driving growth and customer satisfaction.
