Job Description: The opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist with experience in SCADA/EMS/GMS/DMS/OMS Solutions. In this position you will be responsible for strategy and design of the technical solutions in the sales opportunities.

How you'll make an impact

• Responsible for qualifying new opportunities by using analytic and diagnostic skills to match user requirements to Hitachi Energy Network Control Solutions, while developing a deep understanding of customer challenges and needs through visits and meetings with a diverse range of existing and potential customers
• Perform presentations and demonstrations of the solutions, including taking ownership for the development of demo scenarios for customer demos, workshops and proof of concepts
• Responsible for the design of the technical solution offered to the customer and mapping their requirements with our solution portfolio in a competitive market environment
• Participate in bid preparations and contribute to shaping competitive and compelling offerings
• Act as a professional and self-motivated driver to understand the client's business needs and translate them into effective solution approaches
• Work with virtual teams in multi-cultural environments, contributing collaboratively across geographies and functions
• Ability to make the complex simple and show creativity in your approach to problem solving
• Being an analytical team player with the ability to lead and follow as needed.

Your background

• Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering, preferable in Power Technologies
• At least 5 years of experience with an electric utility and/or with a provider of advanced applications for power systems software.
• In-depth understanding of the use of advanced applications within the electric utilities
• Broad IT/OT knowledge with experience in 3rd party system integration and IT security
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Fluency in English, additional languages an advantage
