Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager for our Lafayette, LA office.
The Commercial Lines Account Manager provides prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients, producers, and company personnel, while offering a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing our commercial accounts.
Essential tasks:
Location: Metairie, Covington, or LaPlace, LA - in office role
Experience and Education: 5 (+) years of previous experience in commercial insurance required
Licensing and Credentials: Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required
Systems: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25 pounds. Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens. Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person.
