You exercise expert judgment to align HPE's strategic direction with the evolving needs of the Canadian SP market.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develops 3-year account blueprints and a robust pipeline focused on AI-driven automation and high-performance networking.

- C-Suite Influence: Builds deep, consultative relationships with CTOs, COOs, and Network Architects to align HPE's roadmap with their business transformation goals.
- Ecosystem Orchestration: Leverages a diverse partner ecosystem and internal specialists to provide end-to-end solutions, from the Edge to the AI Data Center.
- Advocacy & Resolution: Acts as the "Voice of the Customer" internally, ensuring product roadmaps and support structures evolve to meet the unique "always-on" requirements of Service Providers.
- Operational Excellence: Manages complex global/local account dynamics, ensuring weekly pipeline accuracy and achieving aggressive quarterly/annual revenue and margin targets.
Education and Experience Required
- Education: University degree; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
- Experience: Typically 12+ years of high-level enterprise/SP sales experience.
- Proven Track Record: At least 5-7 years specifically managing Tier-1 Service Provider accounts or large-scale telecommunications infrastructure.
- Domain Expertise: Must have deep experience in high-performance networking, AI data center fabrics, and automated operations.
Knowledge and Skills
- SP Industry Acumen: Deep understanding of the Service Provider business model, including CAPEX/OPEX constraints, 5G monetization, and the transition to AI-native clouds.
- Financial Engineering: Expert in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and financial-selling techniques to justify large-scale infrastructure investments.
- Negotiation Mastery: Capable of navigating intense procurement cycles and multi-party negotiations while maintaining margin integrity and value positioning.
- Technical Fluency: Ability to lead high-level strategic discussions on AIOps, Network Automation, and Zero Trust security.
- Collaborative Leadership: Excellence in directing "mission-mode" teams across different time zones and business units to close complex, high-visibility deals.
