Key Account Manager

Henkel Beauty Care Professional is seeking a passionate Key Account Manager to manage and elevate business strategies across key retailer, wholesaler, and distributor accounts in Australia and New Zealand, driving strong, profitable partnerships with both existing and potential key customers. This role plays a vital part in shaping sustainable business growth by strengthening relationships, optimizing commercial strategies, and unlocking new opportunities within a dynamic and fast-growing market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales plans and coordinate marketing strategies across major key accounts and independent wholesalers/distributors.
  • Review weekly sales performance, forecasts, market trends, and field insights to guide business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and stock availability.
  • Customize activation plans to drive demand, strengthen core range performance, and improve sell-through.
  • Align customer priorities, sales approaches, and targets with management while leading operational execution for key accounts.
  • Develop, negotiate, and execute promotional activities within account plans, ensuring clear internal communication and system accuracy.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets by growing existing business, generating new opportunities, and making ROI-driven decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic and senior level relationships to enhance brand visibility and profitable long-term partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in key account management, preferably with national-level Pharmacy or FMCG exposure.
  • Strong commercial acumen with analytical capability and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative team player with initiative and a strong drive to succeed.
