As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the Store to their vehicles. Key responsibilities include assisting in unloading merchandise from baskets, packaging groceries, and assisting customers in transporting and locating merchandise. Additionally, you will gather baskets, pick up trash, maintain and stock bag areas, return products to proper locations, stock and stage bags, stock check stand supplies, distribute Buddy bucks to registers, replace anti-fatigue mats, perform carts and parts basket relocation, power-wash basket relocation for department setup, and clean, mop, dust, sweep, and vacuum check stand area, Return Center, and CCO area to maintain store cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications and key requirements include the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work with customers and stay attentive to their needs, maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards, and completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training upon hire. Physical demands include functioning in a fast-paced retail environment, working with customers, constantly reaching at waist, frequently standing, walking, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder, reaching at knee, reaching at floor, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, pushing/pulling with arms, pinching, and performing fine motor movements. Occasional exposure to cold, hot, loud noises, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions is also required. The ability to lift 55 lbs and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs) is necessary.
