As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the Store to their vehicles. Key responsibilities include assisting in unloading merchandise from baskets, packaging groceries, and assisting customers in transporting and locating merchandise. Additionally, you will gather baskets and pick up trash inside and outside the Store, maintain and stock bag areas, return products to proper locations, and perform various sanitation duties to maintain store cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications and key requirements include the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work with customers attentively, maintain productivity and efficiency standards, and complete Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training upon hire. Physical demands include functioning in a fast-paced retail environment, working with customers, reaching at various levels, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, climbing stairs, pivoting, twisting, pushing/pulling with arms, pinching, and performing fine motor movements. Occasional exposure to cold, hot, loud noises, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions is also expected. The ability to lift 55 lbs and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs) is required.
