Customer Service Assistant

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the Store to their vehicles. Key responsibilities include assisting in unloading merchandise from baskets, packaging groceries, and helping customers in transporting and unloading groceries to their vehicles. Additionally, you will assist customers in locating merchandise. For stocking and sanitation duties, you will gather baskets and pick up trash inside and outside the Store, maintain and stock bag areas, return products to proper locations, stock and stage bags, stock check stand supplies, distribute Buddy bucks to registers, replace anti-fatigue mats, do carts and parts basket relocation, and power-wash basket relocation for department setup. You will also perform red basket fill up/retrieval and clean, mop, dust, sweep, and vacuum the check stand area, Return Center, and CCO area to maintain store cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications and key requirements include the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work with customers and stay attentive to their needs, maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards, and completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training upon hire. The physical demands include functioning in a fast-paced retail environment, working with customers, and performing detailed and precise tasks. You will constantly reach at waist, grasp, frequently stand, walk, and occasionally reach overhead, at shoulder, at knee, at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, stair climb, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms, pinch, and perform fine motor movements. You may occasionally be exposed to cold, hot, loud noises, ambient temperatures, and wet conditions. You must demonstrate the ability to lift 55 lbs, and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs). It is your responsibility to never lift beyond your own safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push or pull, and/or carry, you must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, or ask for assistance from another partner or a manager.
